Jesse Albert is an elected board member of the Producers Guild of America New Media Counsel and is the President of Xpansive Media LLC through which he produces both digital and linear television and VR, and consults for studios and production companies on content, distribution and revenue opportunities in the digital marketplace.
Albert is a former Sr. Agent at ICM where he focused on digital and branded entertainment strategy and engagements for world leading clients and brands. His efforts crossed all divisions, including digital, publishing, video games, venture capital, music, and others.
Prior to ICM, Albert led US digital entertainment for Simon Fuller’s 19 Entertainment, creator of American Idol where he helped establish the first American Idol/iTunes relationship and launch the careers of a number of artists.
Albert began his career in Hollywood serving as GM at Media Revolution, an award-winning pioneer in digital marketing for film and television studios and networks.
Albert also teaches a graduate level course on Digital Media & Entertainment in the USC School of Cinema’s Peter Stark Producing Program, and advises a number of North American conferences and film festivals on both digital and VR programming.
