Head of Media Partnerships, Canada, Facebook and Instagram
Marc is the Head of Media Partnerships in Canada for Facebook and Instagram, which gives him the great privilege of engaging with partners in entertainment, music, sports, news, and with public figures throughout the country.
A Digital Media industry veteran of nearly 20 years, Marc has been a leader in digital strategy and product development for some of Canada’s most high-profile entertainment innovations and sports events. Immediately before joining Facebook in late 2014, Marc led the team that launched the Canadian over-the-top streaming entertainment platform shomi. Prior to that, he worked on the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games first in Vancouver with the Organizing Committee, then for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Media Consortium where he helped produce Canada’s most successful digital platform for coverage of an Olympic Games; and after the Games, joined the Rogers Sportsnet team where amongst other things he launched the first OTT sports streaming platform for a Canadian broadcaster, Sportsnet World Now.
